What is the difference between Fine Craft and Fine Art?
Fine craft refers to objects primarily functional and utilitarian and created using traditional or contemporary techniques such as pottery, weaving, woodworking, metalworking, or glassblowing. The emphasis is often on the skill and technique of the craftsperson, and the aesthetic value of the object is secondary to its function.
Fine art, on the other hand, is more focused on creating works of aesthetic value, rather than practical use. This can include painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and installation art, among other forms. Fine art often emphasizes individual expression and creativity, and the value of the work is largely based on its cultural, historical, and intellectual significance.
While there is some overlap between the two categories, the distinction between fine craft and fine art is often based on the intended purpose of the object, as well as the level of skill and creativity involved in its creation.

No outside beverages or food allowed. Alcoholic beverages are sold to patrons 21 years and older presenting valid identification. No firearms or any kind of weapons are allowed. No pets or animals (except service animals recognized by ADA policy). Non-sanctioned activities, including public address or busking are allowed. Unauthorized vendors are not permitted.
Lost & Found
If you lose an item while you are at the Texas Fine Craft Show, you can check with the front desk of The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, or with one of the security staff.

Cheers! ticket holders will have the first opportunity to buy one-of-a-kind fine crafts while enjoying passed bubbles and hors d'oeuvres.
Cheers! tickets include admission for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the Texas Fine Craft Show.
Proceeds from the night benefit The Woodlands Arts Council's programs.
