Sign up for Community Songwriting with Grace

Write a song in community! Together, in under 90 minutes, we will craft a brand new song using games, color, and fun musical activities.
This workshop celebrates communal songwriting and singing. Forget perfection; we are celebrating the unique minds and voices in the room! We will leave with a song that is maybe a little silly, maybe a little funny, but entirely our own. All musical and creative skill levels are welcome!

Grace Wright is a music educator, songwriter, researcher, and writer with 18 years of experience teaching in Texas and NYC. She has a bachelor of music in Jazz Studies from UNT and her creative practice extends into graphic design, art, and somatic movement.

2025 Senior Watercolor Holiday Art Kit

In December 2025, in partnership with Interfaith The Woodlands and The Montgomery County Community Foundation Grant, The Woodlands Arts Council built and distributed 165 holiday art kits to seniors in our community.

Local artist, educator and filmmaker Dandridge Reed leads the exciting holiday watercolor ornament tutorial. Whether you received a kit or not we invite you to join us in creating something fun this holiday season!
