2025 Senior Watercolor Holiday Art Kit

In December 2025, in partnership with Interfaith The Woodlands and The Montgomery County Community Foundation Grant, The Woodlands Arts Council built and distributed 165 holiday art kits to seniors in our community.

Local artist, educator and filmmaker Dandridge Reed leads the exciting holiday watercolor ornament tutorial. Whether you received a kit or not we invite you to join us in creating something fun this holiday season!

To follow along you will need:

Watercolor paint set
Watercolor paper
Paint brushes
A cup of water
Paper towels or rags
Parchment paper
Pencil
Magnets

Holiday Art Kit instructions

TWAC seeks to provide to art experiences & workshops to seniors in Montgomery County. We are excited to partner with Interfaith The Woodlands in the fall of 2025 to bring workshops and art kits to seniors with limited visual arts access in our community.
