The Art Dash Party, presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy, is a lively, celebratory evening event that kicks off The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, bringing together art lovers, festival artists, and the community for an energetic mix of art, music, and connection. Highlighted by the thrilling 60-Second Art Dash—where participants race to claim an original piece of art—and supported by food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere, the party also serves as a key fundraiser for The Woodlands Arts Council’s student scholarships and arts education programs.

Young Makers Market is a unique program that gives students in grades 3–12 (ages 9–18) the chance to experience what it’s like to be a working artist. Before the big day, students participate in workshops focused on marketing, leadership, and entrepreneurship. It’s a fun, hands-on way for students to grow as artists and explore their creative potential.

The Woodlands Arts Council operates a gallery with rotating exhibitions, open free of charge on Tuesday through Thursday from 1:00–4:00 PM. The gallery offers the community a welcoming space to experience visual art up close and engage with new creative voices. Exhibitions change regularly and feature local artists working in a variety of mediums, allowing visitors to return often and discover something new each time.
