The Woodlands High School maintains a Comic Club in which students are able to utilize iPads and Apple pencils to digitally create comics once per week. This opportunity allows students to creatively express themselves through the art of storytelling on top of digital creation. To display the culmination of artistic works, The Woodlands High School annually creates an anthology of comics ranging from 20-40 pages.
Utilizing the funding from the Dr. David Gottlieb Education Microgrant, The Woodlands High School will purchase 12 new Apple pencils to replace the older materials. Keeping their technological devices running at the most efficient pace allows them to keep up with the continuously creating students and foster their imaginations.
