The Judith K. Wren Memorial Fund was established by local residents Chris and Christi Wren in memory of Chris’ mother “Judy” to support arts education, artists and arts organizations.

Judy graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO and then Syracuse University in 1965 with a degree in Fine Arts Illustration. In the early 1980s, Judith was a volunteer and the first Executive Director of the Plano Cultural Arts Council, now called ArtCentre of Plano.

Judy felt strongly about recognizing arts educators and programs as well as the volunteers that make organizations, like The Woodlands Arts Council, work year-round.
