Prior to receiving drying racks, student artwork was stored on classroom counters, creating clutter and disorganization, especially with classes of 28–32 students on a block schedule. The existing rack was worn and difficult to use, making it hard to properly care for student work.
With four new drying racks at McCullough—two per classroom—students immediately experienced a more organized and efficient workspace. They could safely and independently store watercolor and acrylic pieces, keeping work protected throughout the creative process.
Students quickly noticed the improvement, which also supported larger projects for Junior VASE and the District Art Show. Overall, the racks improved organization, workflow, and student care of artwork.
