Acorn Manners Assisted Living Home is a residential home from elderly people, many of whom experience mobility and memory issues. They currently rely on volunteer work and internal funding to provide entertainment and bring livelihood to their residents. These opportunities for quality entertainment build community relations and bring light into the lives of these seniors.
Being able to utilize funding from the The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Performing Arts Microgrant will allow Acorn Manners to host professional musicians and performers to engage their senior residents and bring more livelihood and energy into their environment.
