My primary focus in leatherwork is figure carving, or what we traditionally call “tooling.” This is where I feel the true artistry of leatherwork comes alive. All of my designs are original and one of a kind, created specifically by me. I enjoy thinking outside the box and pushing the boundaries of traditional Western leatherwork while still honoring the craftsmanship and techniques that have been passed down through generations.
Every piece begins with a simple side of leather, including my saddles. From that raw material, I develop the design and bring it to life through cutting, carving, tooling, coloring, painting, and stitching. Each step is done by hand, allowing me to control every detail of the finished piece.
My goal is to create more than just a functional leather product. I strive to make each saddle and leather piece a unique work of art—something that reflects my creativity, craftsmanship, and passion for the Western tradition.
Each piece I create is an expression of craftsmanship and individuality, but the artistic process doesn’t have to end with what you see on display. Many of my works can be thoughtfully personalized to reflect your own vision, taste, and story.
