Jewelry
Be A Fan
Using metalworking fabrication techniques, I personally design and hand make silver, 14K, 18K & 14K gold filled jewelry from raw metal including raw wire & sheet and recycled scrap. I rely on the vision in my mind and manipulate the metal to develop my idea. Serendipity can sometimes be a friend as I work, changing a jewelry design for the better! My process involves forging, sawing, soldering, filing, granulation, sanding, shaping, polishing, adding patina, and many more steps to create a finished piece of jewelry. I frequently mix the contrasting silver and gold metals & enhance the finished pieces with hand applied texture using hammers that allow me create the texture myself. I then decide on the patina that complements the texture and produces a distinctive look. I occasionally accent pieces with flush set diamonds, Boulder and Ethiopian opals, gemstones, & freshwater, Tahitian & South Sea pearls. My favorite gem is the diamond, and I use that as often as I can.
