Tianna Hall is a Grammy-recognized vocal powerhouse based in Houston, Texas. As the charismatic bandleader and vocalist for The Houston Jazz Band, The Texas Jazz Band, Mighty Pretty Mixtape, and The Houston Jazz Band Orchestra, Tianna is the most sought-after jazz singer in Texas, collaborating with the region’s premier instrumentalists.

A distinguished alumna of the University of Houston, Tianna majored in Vocal Performance and enjoyed a successful career in musical theatre and opera before dedicating her talents to jazz. She was mentored by Duke Ellington Orchestra pianist Marsha Frazier and the renowned composer, arranger, and jazz pianist Paul English, who were instrumental in shaping her illustrious jazz career since 2004.

Tianna’s recent performances have captivated audiences at prestigious events and venues, including headlining the Candlelight Concert series with The Houston Jazz Band, opening for jazz legend Jane Monheit at The Heights Theater, and gracing stages at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Minute Maid Park, Robertson Stadium, and Jones Hall. She has also been featured on KUHF’s 88.7 FM and the acclaimed Houston Television variety show, The After Party with Ernie Manouse.

A fixture at Houston’s finest venues, Tianna regularly enchants audiences at Doc’s Houston, Sidebar (the speakeasy of Credence), The Rouxpour, Pearl & Vine, Green Oaks Tavern, The Houstonian, River Oaks Country Club, Houston Country Club, Houston Oaks Country Club, The Astorian, The Lone Star Flight Museum and The Museum of Fine Arts Houston. She is also a favorite for exclusive private engagements, performing at the homes and estates of prominent politicians, philanthropists, and celebrities across Texas, the United States, and internationally.

Tianna’s vocal artistry is influenced by a diverse array of legends, including Tony Bennett, Jane Monheit, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy, and Sarah Vaughan. Her impressive discography boasts eight full-length albums, including the 2024 release The Vintage Jukebox and the 2020 live recording Tianna Hall & The Houston Jazz Band - Live. Her critically acclaimed albums Hit Me With a Hot Note, Lost In The Stars, Never Let Me Go, Ballads & Bossas & Noel have all been Grammy-recognized, showcasing her collaboration with top-tier musicians and producers.

As a dedicated voting member of The Recording Academy, Tianna actively contributes to the jazz and recording artist communities. She is also an influential member of the Houston Professional Musicians Union, continuously enriching the cultural landscape with her extraordinary talent and passion.

Greg Petito

Greg Petito is a professional guitar player with over 25 years experience. Based in Houston, Tx, he performs locally, across the State of Texas, as well as at various venues around the US. A highly skilled soloist and accompanist, he maintains an extremely busy performance schedule in a myriad of settings ranging from Instrumental Jazz Combos, Vocal/Guitar Jazz Duos, Fusion Ensembles , Pop/Rock/R&B Groups, Jazz Big Bands, Latin Jazz Ensembles, as well as Solo Jazz and Classical Guitar. He also performs frequently with Symphony Orchestras such as The Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet Orchestra, The Minnesota Orchestra, as well as The Florida Orchestra.

In addition to local jazz artists such as Tianna Hall, David Caceres, Warren Sneed, The Houston Jazz Orchestra, etc, he has also performed with various national/international touring artists such as Cynthia Erivo, Il Divo, Marcus Roberts, Allen Vizzutti, Will Kennedy, among many others. Greg is also actively involved in recording sessions at Sugar Hill Studios, Wire Road Studios, etc, having been featured on over 50 recordings by various recording artists.

Greg is also an active educator and clinician. He is currently on the Jazz Faculty at the University of Houston Moores School of Music as well as San Jacinto College (where he runs the Jazz and Classical Guitar programs). He has conducted guitar clinics and has been a featured artist at Sam Houston State University, HSPVA, among others, as well as being the All State Jazz Guitar clinician for the Texas Music Educator's Conference from 2015-2022.

He holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz/Classical Guitar from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz/Classical Guitar from the University of North Texas.
