At Hines Elementary School, iPads provide a wide range of creative tools and apps that allow students to express their creativity in various art forms such as drawing, painting, animation, and digital design. Through a program called Artsonia, students are able to share work with classmates, teachers, and parents in order to foster collaboration and showcase portfolios overflowing with creativity. These iPads are portable and user-friendly devices that allow students to explore and experiment with different art techniques, colors, textures, and multimedia projects.
In order to purchase 12 more iPads to fuel this interactive learning experience in the art classroom, the Dr. David Gottlieb Education Microgrant will provide funding for iPads, cases, a charging cart, and the Jamf School macOS iOS and tvOS lifetime licenses necessary on each iPad. Hines Elementary will be able to continue this vibrant active learning endeavor with their young artists to explore not only art but master the use of technology.
