All my designs are derived during my experiences in nature. I take several photos, inspired notes and plein-air sketches. Using a twenty first century approach to impressionism, I begin with artist grade acrylic on high-quality canvas and panels to create contemporary impressionistic landscapes. Layering my paints to create a depth of color and variation, employing a variety of brushstrokes, a bright sense of color and luxurious texture. I translate my inspiration of the American Landscape & Wildlife into bold, contemporary, impressions.
