Once turned wood bowls from salvaged trees are turned to their final shape and size then put aside to dry. While drying they move and distort due to the tensions in the wood. Once dry I embellish with acrylics and other material to produce a beautiful as well as functional art piece. The finish is beeswax and mineral oil, food safe.
