SOLD OUT 3PM: Pastel Workshop with Carolina Dalmas*
“Expressive Floral Pastels “
Explore the technique of painting with soft pastels led by award-winning artist Carolina Dalmas. In this 2.5-hour workshop, follow Carolina's step-by-step guidance to create a vibrant and expressive flower arrangement.
Carolina's style is unique, refreshing, and new! Carolina teaches art classes at her studio and has an active presence in many community art associations. She brings exciting expressive and modern colors to her pastels. "The inspiration for my works comes from nature, especially by the incredible world of flowers. I think that the elements of design are best depicted by nature through flowers. They show us a great variety of shapes, textures, tones and amazing colors. I like the freshness of pastels, it helps to keep my work light and simple".
About the Artist:
Carolina has more than 15 years of experience teaching. She is patient, fun, and uses pedagogic strategies that her students love. She always starts her classes with this phrase: “Art begins with observation. Art is discovery, a way of looking at the world as though you are seeing it for the first time”.
