Kerry Conkling

Kerry Conkling

Kerry Conkling grew up in Montreal Canada. Her Mother was a very talented water colorist and inspired her to love art. After 35 years in the airlines Kerry finally had her chance to paint, draw and experience the joys of being an artist. When she did retire she was part of a team of Artists to open the Gallery at the Madely Building in Conroe. She was the President of the Conoe Art League for 2 years and served on the Board of Directors for an additional 2 years. Kerry won the award for Pursuit of Excellence in 2019 from the Greater Conroe Arts Alliance for her hard work with CAL and promoting the arts in Conroe. She has been the Chair person for the annual Art Auction for 9 years to benefit Montgomery County High School seniors every Spring. Kerry also has volunteered at the Woodlands Waterway Art Festival for 6 years and was a Judge for 3 years. Kerry also hosts tours of the Gallery for Seniors, children’s groups and other visitors to the area.
Robert Heintzelman

Robert Heintzelman

Robert Heintzelman has a Bachelor of Arts from Washburn University and a Master of Arts degree from Wichita State University, and has participated in various exhibits and shows. He has created permanent sculptures/works in different locations all over the United States. Additionally, he have created temporary public works in multiple cities across different states. He is the artist of “Faith, Hope, and Love,” which is one of The Woodlands Arts Council’s Art Bike Racks!
Carolina Ingram

Carolina Ingram

Carolina Ingram, a versatile force at Vander Dys Fine Jewelers in The Woodlands, Texas, seamlessly combines roles as a jewelry designer, sales professional, and administrative whiz. Beyond the glimmer of gemstones, Carolina's artistic spirit extends to graphic design, where she adds a personal touch to the family business. Her passion for creativity doesn't end at the workplace—Carolina is an avid painter and craft enthusiast, infusing her surroundings with artistry. Family is at the core of her heart, as she dedicates cherished moments to her son and extended family. Home life is complete with the joyful presence of two fur babies, Moose and Meka. Amidst the hustle, Carolina finds solace in nature, where she unwinds and draws inspiration for her designs. In The Woodlands, Texas, Carolina Ingram not only contributes to the brilliance of Vander Dys Fine Jewelers but also paints a vibrant tapestry of love, creativity, and connection in her personal life.
Annette Palmer

Annette Palmer

Originally from Scotland, Annette Palmer now lives in Magnolia, Texas where she creates her collectable fine art pieces for gallery exhibitions and private collections. Her semi abstract land and sea scape paintings, inspired by relationships, distance and the spaces in-between, feature elements of antique ephemera, collage and metallic details. Her formal art education took place at Edinburgh College of Art/Heriot Watt University, in Scotland’s capital, graduating with a BA Honors degree in 1989. Annette went on to travel, eventually running her own design company in Singapore. Since returning “home” to Texas in 2016, Annette previously taught in many of The Woodlands private schools, as well as teaching adults from her studio. In addition to a lengthy exhibiting history which includes solo shows at Houston’s Jung Center, Archway Gallery and Glade Gallery in The Woodlands, she has also showcased her work internationally. Annette has curated for art galleries and exhibition spaces.  
Julie Verville

Julie Verville

Julie Verville currently serves as Gallery Director and Curator for Ardest Gallery, a fine arts gallery located in The Woodlands, Texas. The gallery currently showcases works by over 40, top 2D and 3D Texas artists and was a 2023 Best of the Best finalist in the art gallery category. She is a member of the Visual Arts Alliance and Women in the Visual and Literary Arts.

Prior to serving in her current role, Verville worked as a national brand stylist under her business name Crowning Details, producing content for many familiar national brands. Her design work has been published numerous times in national print publications such as Minted.

Julie is an avid art collector of nearly 20 years, with the majority of her art acquisitions originating within the Texas art scene. She is the proud mother of 4 and currently resides in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband.
