A Safety First Approach

The safety, comfort, and well-being of our artists, attendees, volunteers and staff is our top priority!

We have worked in conjunction with national and state health guidelines; festival & event trade associations; medical professionals and local government to create a comprehensive safety plan that is intended to mitigate risks as much as possible so we may gather and enjoy the art festival.


Attendee Experience

We believe strongly that the arts should be accessible to those who wish to enjoy them and so we are doing everything in our power to provide a safe festival experience. We encourage you to read through this page to determine your own level of comfort before attending the 2023 arts festival.

Please purchase your ticket in advance online. This year to ensure we have less lines and crowding at the gates we will be selling tickets ONLINE ONLY. Additionally be sure to bring a debit/credit card to make food & beverage purchases at the Festival. Artists set their own accepted forms of payment.

Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the festival.
Enhanced Cleaning

Enhanced Cleaning

All common area touch points and food areas, will be sanitized between attendee use. Professional companies are providing this service.

Please make sure that you have reviewed all advisories or restrictions that may be in place for Montgomery County, Texas. By entering The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, you are confirming that you and all persons in your party:

  • are not experiencing any of the following of COVID-19 symptoms including: difficulty breathing, fever (over 100°F), chills, muscle aches or pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell
  • are not under any self-quarantine orders

If you cannot confirm all of the above, please stay home. If you feel any COVID-19 symptoms while you are at the art festival, please leave, get tested, and isolate.

Assumption of Risk

Attendees at The Woodlands Arts Festival voluntarily assume all risk for exposure to COVID-19 and are attending with full knowledge of risks related to large events. Attendees for themselves and anyone entitled to act on their behalf, release and forever discharge The Woodlands Arts Council., the Board members, the volunteers, The Woodlands Township, the sponsoring organizations, any other duly appointed representatives and the employees, agents, officers of each from any responsibility, personal liability, personal injury, loss or damages arising out of or in connection with this Festival.
