Ron Sisco & Kent Haugaard

Primarily we work with Reclaimed Mesquite Wood but do use the occasional Redwood, Black Walnut, Cherry and maple in our work. All pieces are turned, carved, hand and machine worked. We do not use CNC machines or any computers in creating our handmade pieces. We create functional art for the home. Everything is made to be used from our kitchen utensils, cutting boards and tables. We use reclaimed wood and inlay natural Turquoise into the knots and cracks of the wood. Similar to the Japanese technique called Kintsugi. We embrace the flaws and imperfections because this is where the grain of the wood is most beautiful. We also inlay river stone into our pieces incorporating the natural world into the functional piece. Each spoon, cutting board, bowl, salad set, and table is truly unique and one of a kind.
