Art Feel

This is the Woodlands Arts Council-Because Art Matters sixth year to offer a Fast Draw competition. For this year’s competition, we invite 40 current 7th and 8th grade students from the Montgomery County area (this includes all school districts, private and home-schooled students) to join us September 29th, 2018 at 10:00 am to sketch their perception of what they see, while viewing the still life provided by Woodlands Escapes.

For this year’s competition, The Woodlands Arts Council will broadcast a still life reflecting Nature. With nature being the theme of this year’s competition, student participants can choose to sketch out items like trees, bushes, brush items like pine cones, flowers, and flower pots.

This workshop is free once they have applied, and open to the first 40 students who apply through our online application. Once they have applied, they will be instructed to meet at the Woodlands Mall on the first floor Dick’s Sporting Goods Court from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.
