The Woodlands Arts Council at Wine & Food Week

What a spectacular turn-out at the Wine & Art Waterway Cruises and Artist Village at Wine & Food Week in The Woodlands! The Woodlands Arts Council had a booth at the Wine Walk and inaugurated our newest activity, The Wine and Bench Waterway Cruise.

The Artist Village at the H-E-B Wine Walk at Market Street featured interactive painting and art for sale by master artists from The Conroe Art League and The Woodlands Art League. Thank you to these artists for their participation: Sue Burke-Harrington, Sandy Cooper, Daniel Elliott, Kathy Fediw, Cindy Johnson, Tom LaRock, Matt Robison and Hilda Rueda.

A fundraiser for The Woodlands Arts Council, the Wine & Art Bench Waterway Cruise featured a scenic tour of the Woodlands Waterway, hosted by Art Bench fine artist Rod Flower. Guests enjoyed viewing unique usable art benches from the comfort of the air conditioned cruisers along with guided wine tastings paired nicely with Cerviche, Gazpacho, cheese, fruit and specialty breads.

A special thank you to our participants, sponsors and volunteers who made these events possible.
